Melissa, thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind words! I use a Canon 5d (I will ALWAYS be a Canon girl). The key to no shadows is open shade. We took this at about 7:30 at night while the sun was setting. That way there is still the perfect amount of light, but no shadows. TIming is crucial. If I ever find I have a bit of a shadow I use my handy dandy MCP bag of tricks actions. THere is one called magic ligt where you can easily get the shadows out.
